They’ve added a fantastic new feature to WhatsApp that’s going to make your video calls even better.
Now, when you’re on a video call with your friends, family, or coworkers, you can show them what’s on your screen.
Imagine being able to share important documents with your coworkers or getting help with choosing a wedding invitation design from your friends.
This awesome addition means you don’t have to use other apps like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom just for screen sharing.
WhatsApp wants to be the one app you need for everything, and they’re adding all sorts of cool stuff.
During a video call, you’ll find a button that lets you share your screen. You can choose to show just one app or share your whole screen, so everyone on the call can see.
But that’s not all!
They’ve also made video calls even better by adding a Landscape mode. This makes the video look even cooler and more enjoyable.
Right now, it’s available for iPhones, and soon it’ll be on Android phones too.

WhatsApp has been working hard on other things too. They’ve given their iPhone app a fresh new look, with a clear bar at the bottom and better options for doing stuff and sharing things.
They’ve also made it easier to move your chats to a new iPhone and to block calls from people you don’t know.
And guess what?
They’re making more cool stuff, like a way to talk with your voice in groups and to decide who can do what in a group before you even make it.
